Follow @BroncoSports on Twitter, and vote in our Twitter poll for your Boise State Athlete of the Week every Monday morning, and the occasional Tuesday morning, should a holiday fall on a Monday.
This week's (Sept. 4-10) nominees are:
Sierra Nobley (Sr. | Outside Hitter | Scottsdale, Ariz.) - Women's Volleyball
Sierra Nobley set the Mountain West career kills record Saturday night during Boise State's 3-0 sweep of Portland State at the UC Davis Invitational.
For the weekend, Nobley led the Broncos with 48 kills, hit .264, and made 31 digs en route to being named to the All-Tournament Team. The Broncos also topped all teams in the field with a 2-1 record, earning sweeps of Santa Clara and Portland State against a 3-2 loss to host UC Davis.

Aubree Chatterton (Fr. | Forward | Boise, Idaho) - Women's Soccer
Aubree Chatterton was one of Boise State's most consistent attackers this past weekend as the Broncos went 1-1 in Portland, defeating the host Pilots, 1-0, Sunday afternoon following a 2-0 defeat against Washington.
Chatterton produced two of Boise State's three shots on goal in Friday's loss to the Huskies, and continued her strong play Sunday as she assisted on Raimee Sherle's game-winner against the Pilots. Chatterton flicked a pass to Sherle at the top of the box in the 71st minute, and Sherle's shot had enough pace to carom off the keeper's hands and into the net. The assist was the first point of Chatterton's career.

Leighton Vander Esch (R-Jr. | WLB | Riggins, Idaho) - Football
Leighton Vander Esch posted a career-best 16 tackles (10 solo) in Saturday night's 47-44 triple-overtime loss at No. 20/22 Washington State, also racking up a pair of sacks and forcing a fumble. Vander Esch's performance was a big part of the Broncos shutting down the Washington State running game, as the Cougars rushed for just 22 yards on 27 attempts (0.8 yards per attempt). Led by Vander Esch, the Bronco defense also forced three turnovers in the contest, marking the second-straight game in which the defense has made three takeaways.
Big sack from Vander Esch! Knocks the ball loose, but the Cougs fall on it. 2nd-and-20 from the 25. Vander Esch's 2nd sack of the night pic.twitter.com/56estKzHka
