BOISE, Idaho - Boise State quarterback Brett Rypien was named one of eight Manning Award "Stars of the Week" Monday, following his performance in this past weekend's 24-17 victory over No. 16/17 Fresno State.

College football fans can now go to the Allstate Sugar Bowl social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) to vote for what they think was the best performance from this past weekend. Voting closes Thursday at 10 a.m. MT.

Rypien completed 24-of-29 passes for 269 yards and a touchdown in the contest, with the scoring pass, a 49-yard fourth-quarter strike to Khalil Shakir, providing the winning points as Boise State completed a 14-point second-half comeback.

Rypien also set a pair of Mountain West milestones, becoming the conference's all-time leader in both passing yards and completions in the contest. On the first play of the game, Rypien hit Sean Modster for 41 yards, eclipsing Ryan Lindley's (San Diego State, 2008-11) previous benchmark of 12,690 passing yards, then, later in the game, passed Lindley's completions mark of 961. Through Friday's game, Rypien now stands at 12,924 career passing yards and 981 completions.

No. 23/24 Boise State makes its final road trip of the regular season this weekend, heading to Albuquerque to face New Mexico (3-7, 1-5 MW) Friday at 7 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
