
Kelsey Messer Takes Over Cheer and Dance Program

BOISE, Idaho – Kelsey Messer has been named Boise State University's Head Cheer and Dance Coach, Bronco Director of Athletics Curt Apsey announced, Wednesday.
Messer has been the volunteer assistant coach for the Broncos' spirit squad during the last-four years. She was a Boise State cheerleader from 2011-15 and was a team captain.
"Kelsey brings an overall understanding and direction of the program that will enable a smooth transition for our spirit squad as we move forward," Apsey said.
Messer earned her bachelor's degree from Boise State in 2015 and a master's degree from Colorado State in 2018. She replaces Kassondra Landry and will begin her new role, May 20.
