Broncos Have 113 Earn MW Scholar-Athlete Award

BOISE, Idaho -Â Boise State had 113 student-athletes earn Mountain West Scholar-Athlete Awards Tuesday, as the conference announced its list of 2018-19 recipients.
Broken down by program, Boise State's selections were paced by women's swimming and diving (21 honorees), women's track and field (19), and women's soccer (17).
The announcement comes a day after 108 Bronco student-athletes were named to the 2019 Spring Academic All-Mountain West list.
The MW Scholar-Athlete Award is one of the highest academic honors bestowed by the Conference. To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least two academic terms at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better, and have participated in varsity competition in a Mountain West-sponsored sport.
