BOISE, Idaho - Boise State student-athletes excelled once again in the classroom during the Fall 2019 semester, combining for a 3.27 grade-point average. The figure is just one-hundredth of a point off of the department's Fall semester record of 3.28, set last year.

Bronco student-athletes also posted a cumulative GPA of 3.33, marking the sixth-straight semester above 3.30. The 3.33 cumulative GPA is also just one-hundredth of a point shy of the all-time department record of 3.34, set after the Spring 2019 semester.

One record was set following this fall, as all Bronco athletic programs combined for an average team cumulative GPA of 3.41, eclipsing the 3.39 following this past spring.

Forty-six Bronco student-athletes registered a perfect 4.00 GPA, either semester or cumulative, with 80 percent of student-athletes posting at least a 3.00.

Four programs, softball (3.50), women's tennis (3.72), men's track and field (3.20), and volleyball (3.55), posted their highest team cumulative GPAs on record. Once again, women's gymnastics paced all Bronco teams in both semester (3.75) and team cumulative GPA (3.78), topping the department for the 11th- and 10th-straight semesters, respectively.

Bronco football recorded its 10th-straight semester with a team cumulative GPA higher than 3.00, coming in at 3.06.
