Jade Loville Earns Conference Award

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State junior guard Jade Loville has been named the Mountain West Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference announced, Tuesday.
 
Loville averaged 26.5 points to lead the Broncos to a pair of victories over San Jose State, Dec. 31 and Jan. 2.
 
In Boise State's conference opener, Loville poured in a career-high 31 points as the Broncos edged the Spartans 77-75. Her basket in the fourth quarter broke a 68-68 tie and gave Boise State the lead for good and she sealed the victory with a 3-point play that pushed the advantage to 76-72.
 
During the second meeting, the Sammamish, Wash., native scored 10 points as the Broncos raced to a 19-4 lead. She finished with 22 points and averaged five points and three assists in the two wins.
 
It is the first-career player of the week honor for Loville and she is the first Bronco to garner the award since Mallory McGwire, Dec. 9, 2019.
