Spring Game Format Announced

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State football head coach Andy Avalos announced Thursday the format for the 2021 edition of the Broncos' Spring Game, presented by Cintas.

The offense, wearing orange uniforms and white helmets, will square off against the defense, which will don blue uniforms and blue helmets.
    
Quarterbacks will be in all white, and specialists will be in all blue.

The Spring Game will feature four, eight-minute quarters, with a regular game clock. A running clock may be utilized in the second half should the Broncos reach a certain play count.

Scoring for the game will be based on the following criteria:

OFFENSE
Touchdown - 6 points            
Field Goal - 3 points
Explosive Play (Run +12, Pass +16) - 1 point            
PAT - 1 point            

DEFENSE
Touchdown - 6 points            
Turnover / 4th Down Stop - 3 points                        
3 & Out - 2 points            
Sack - 2 points            
Attempted FG Inside RZ - 4 points

ADDITIONAL REMINDERS
In order to promote a contactless entry to Albertsons Stadium, all tickets will be digital and a no-bag policy will be in effect.

Parking will be free in the stadium lots, though tailgating is prohibited.

Prepackaged, grab-and-go concessions will be available.

BUY YOUR TICKETS AT THE SPRING GAME
All individuals that purchase either season tickets or a Blue Collar Pass at the 2021 Spring Game will receive a poster autographed by first-year head coach Andy Avalos. Additionally, individuals that purchase season tickets Saturday will be entered into a drawing for an autographed helmet.
