BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Director of Athletics Jeramiah Dickey announced Tuesday, the addition of two new staff members. Cody Gougler joins the Broncos as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs. Jake Mankin comes aboard as the Associate Athletic Director for Ticket Sales and Operations.

"I am excited to welcome Cody and Jake to our team," Dickey said. "We are making a concerted effort to enhance our revenue generation, public outreach and the way we engage with our community. Cody and Jake have both played major roles in elevating revenue generation and customer service at the highest level. They are going to be a major part of providing our student-athletes, coaches, staff and supporters with an elite experience."

Gougler will oversee the fundraising, ticketing, marketing, communications and content creation efforts of the department, as well as the relationship with Bronco Sports Properties. Mankin will be tasked with building a ticket sales team and overseeing all facets of ticket sales and service for Boise State Athletics. Both will have sport program administrator responsibilities.

Gougler comes to Boise State after spending the last four years at Baylor in resource development. He was hired as an assistant athletic director in May 2017, and was promoted to associate athletic director in June 2019. He was the secondary sport administrator for the 2020-21 national championship Baylor men's basketball program.

A member of Baylor's external leadership team, Gougler had direct oversight of annual giving and ticketing, accounting for 33 percent of the department's annual revenue budget. Gougler, a key contributor to the launch of Baylor University's $1.1 billion Give Light Campaign, successfully participated in various seven- and eight-figure gift proposals, as well as capital project naming rights proposals.

Prior to Baylor, Gougler held various development roles at Air Force, ultimately serving as an assistant athletic director. He started his career at his alma mater, Southeastern Louisiana as an assistant director of development. Gougler was a baseball student-athlete for the Lions and earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from the school.

Mankin brings a decade of ticket sales experience, spanning professional and collegiate organizations, including the last six years as the director of outbound ticket sales at Alabama. In that role, Mankin built out a ticket sales department focused on revenue generation and sustainability for the Crimson Tide's seven ticketed sports.

He led a department of full-time and student staff to generate revenue, increase attendance and provide a quality customer experience. Mankin and his team's efforts led to high-water marks in football, men's and women's basketball and baseball, as well as NCAA attendance records at softball.

Before Alabama, Mankin spent 18 months in ticket sales at Houston, where he was also part of building and implementing a ticket sales team. Prior to entering the collegiate ranks, he was a sales representative and business development account executive with the Miami Dolphins for three years.
