ABOUT FRESNO STATE: Fresno State enters Friday's contest sporting a 14-5 record including a 4-2 mark in conference play. After dropping a game at Boise State on Dec. 28, the Bulldogs have gone on to win four of their last five games, scoring an average of 70.2 points per game while allowing just 63.6 during that run. Fresno State boasts the league's second-best defense all season, giving up an average of 57.7 points per game.

SERIES HISTORY: Boise State leads the all-time series 25-22. In the last meeting the Broncos came away with a 65-55 win on home court.

TWO BIG MONTHS: With a win Friday night Boise State will have won every game it has played in the months of December and January this season. This would be the first time in program history the Broncos have gone undefeated in the month of January. Boise State enter the game with a 13-game win streak, the second-longest active streak in the country behind Auburn. The streak is also tied for the longest in program history set last season.

GOOD ON THE ROAD: Boise State has handled the pressure of playing on the road in the Mountain West well, winning four such contests thus far. The Broncos earned wins at Nevada, New Mexico, San Diego State and Utah State for the first time in the current MW configuration. Only four Mountain West teams have won at least five conference road games before the end of January in league history (San Diego State 2019-20 [6]; Boise State 2016-17 [5]; San Diego State 2015-16 [5]; New Mexico, 2013-14 [5]).
