
Broncos in the NFL: Week 17

BOISE, Idaho – Several former Boise State football student-athletes stepped up for their teams in the second to last week of the NFL's regular season, including Atlanta Falcons rookie cornerback Avery Williams, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cedrick Wilson and New York Giants defensive tackle David Moa.
Williams forced a fumble that led to a safety, Wilson recorded a touchdown and a two-point conversion, while also completing a 31-yard pass and Moa made his first NFL start.
Here is a look at what all the Broncos in the NFL did in week 17:
Arizona Cardinals (Cardinals 25, Cowboys 22)
Tanner Vallejo (LB) – Vallejo returned for the first time since suffering an injury in week ten. The inside linebacker appeared on both defense and special teams, recording one tackle.
Next – vs. Seattle Seahawks, 2:25 p.m. MT
Atlanta Falcons (Bills 29, Falcons 15)
Avery Williams (CB) – Williams forced a fumble, resulting in a safety to put the Falcons up 2-0 early in the first quarter. He also returned one kickoff for two yards.

Dallas Cowboys (Cardinals 25, Cowboys 22)
Demarcus Lawrence (DE) – Lawrence started at left defensive end, notching one tackle.
Darian Thompson (S) – Thompson appeared on 88 percent of the special teams plays.
Leighton Vander Esch (LB) – Vander Esch started at middle linebacker and led the cowboys with 10 tackles, including eight solo. He made eight of his 10 tackles in the first half.
Cedrick Wilson (WR) – Wilson registered 35 yards and a touchdown on six receptions. The wide receiver also completed a 31-yard pass to Tony Pollard and hauled in a pass from Dak Prescott on a two-point conversation attempt midway through the fourth quarter.
