Shakir Invited to NFL Combine

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State wide receiver Khalil Shakir was invited to the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine, the NFL announced Wednesday.
Shakir was one of 324 prospects to receive an invitation to this year's combine and one of just 40 wide receivers selected to attend.
During the 2021 season, Shakir registered career highs in receptions (77) and receiving yards (1,117), and his 15-consecutive games with at least 65 yards receiving were the longest active streak nationally.
The Murrieta, Calif., native ranks fifth all-time at Boise State in career receptions (208) and is tied for sixth in career 100-yard games (10). Additionally, his yards receiving this past season moved him into fourth for career yards receiving (2,878).
A two-time All-Mountain West First-Team honoree, Shakir was named to the 2021 Academic All-America Division I Football Second Team and received an invitation to the 2022 Reese's Senior Bowl.
Since 2010, at least one Boise State standout to attend the NFL Combine has heard his name called during the NFL Draft.
Shakir's invitation marks the 18th-consecutive NFL Combine featuring a Bronco.
The 2022 NFL Combine will take place in Indianapolis from March 1-7.
