BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State football team's 2022 schedule, the second campaign under head coach Andy Avalos, was released by the Mountain West, Wednesday.
Ticket packages are available at BroncoSports.com/tickets.
Dates for the 2022 schedule are subject to change and kickoff times and broadcast information will be announced at a later date.
Boise State's nonconference slate includes road games at Oregon State (Sept. 3) and UTEP (Sept. 24), and home games against UT Martin (Sept. 17) and BYU (Nov. 5).
The Broncos' conference schedule includes home games against San Diego State (Oct. 1), Fresno State (Oct. 8), Colorado State (Oct. 29) and Utah State (Nov. 26). The conference road tilts will be played at New Mexico (Sept. 10), Air Force (Oct. 22), Nevada (Nov. 12) and Wyoming (Nov. 19).
The 2022 MW Championship Game will be played on Dec. 3, featuring the Mountain and West Division Champions at a to-be-determined site.
Boise State will open the season with two true road games for the first time since 2005, but closes the regular season at home for the first time in four years.
Today's release represents the first phase in the 2022 football schedule process. Mountain West national television partners CBS Sports and FOX Sports will now initiate a selection procedure which will include the shifting of particular games to non-Saturday dates. That will be followed by the identification of network outlets and kick times.
Boise State enters the 2022 season with a streak of 24-consecutive winning seasons (1998-2021), tied with Texas (1893-1916) for the 13th-longest streak in Football Bowl Subdivision history. The streak is the longest by a school in the Group of Five all-time.
The Broncos have also achieved bowl-eligible status each of the last 24 years, the third-longest active streak in the country and trailing only Ohio State (33) and Georgia (25).
