
Boise State Student-Athletes Earn Mountain West Academic Awards

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State student-athletes combined for 91 Mountain West All-Academic awards in fall 2021, the conference announced, Wednesday.
The men's cross country squad led the Mountain West with a program-record 13 selections. Boise State's 91 selections overall were second in the conference (New Mexico).
Soccer also set a program record with 19 honorees while reaching the Mountain West Championship Final.
Football (34), women's cross country (14) and volleyball (11) made Boise State one of three schools in the Mountain West (Utah State, Wyoming) to have at least 10 student-athletes selected in those five sports.
To be eligible for 2021 Fall Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes completed at least one academic term at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and must have competed in 50 percent of the team's completed varsity contests. NOTE: Some latitude was permitted to accommodate those student-athletes who were injured and unable to compete in the required number of contests.
