Kiesler Awarded Freshman of the Year, Six All-MW Honorees Highlights MW Championships

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State cross country placed six runners on the All-Mountain West teams, as well as Freshman of the Year Julia Kiesler, to highlight the 2023 MW Cross Country Championships, Friday at Eagle Island State Park. The women's team placed second with 65 points, while the men were third with 75 points.

Junior Autumn Ost led the Broncos with an eight-place finish in 20:31.1. Ost set the pace for Kaiya Robertson (10th), Naomy Lokiles (13th), Kiesler (16th) and Samantha Wood (18th) as the Broncos finished second with 65 points, and all five scorers in the top 18. Ost, Robertson and Lokiles were all awarded second-team All-MW honors.

Joe Hudson led the men's team to a third-place finish as he traversed the 8-kilometer course in 23:31.1. He placed fifth, followed by Tom Graham-Marr (11th), Tom Patrick (14th), Josh Dickinson (19th) and Murdoch McIntyre (26th). Boise State finished with 75 points and three All-MW honorees. Hudson was named to the first team while Graham-Marr and Patrick were awarded second team honors.
