Department benchmarks growth in multiple areas and community impact
BOISE, Idaho - Boise State Athletics shares highlights from the 2022-23 fiscal year via the department's Annual Report director of athletics Jeramiah Dickey announced Friday. The report details growth, milestones, and impact that ties into the department's #WhatsNext Initiative.
"We share the Annual Report with gratitude and in acknowledgment to Bronco Nation for believing in the possibilities," said Dickey. "The highlights are just a fraction of all that has been accomplished through the tenacity and commitment from our student-athletes, coaches, staff, donors and partners to position Boise State Athletics for success. Today's announcement follows the news, shared in August, of the department's back-to-back record breaking fundraising year with $26.1 million in total support.
The department's annual report highlights the following.
Revenue & Engagement
- 14% growth in Bronco Athletic Association membership
- 26% increase in men's basketball season ticket holders
- 9.4% rise in overall ticket sales revenue
Infrastructure
- Upgrades to Beach Volleyball and Volleyball locker rooms
- Installation of lights at Albertsons Stadium and Boas Soccer Complex
- New photo studio in Caven-Williams Indoor Facility
Marketability
- Milestones for Collegiate Licensing Company Royalties
- Increase in Bronco Sports App users by 129%
- Upgrades to fan experience at Albertsons Stadium
Student-Athlete Experience
- Expand Sports Performance, Health and Wellness offerings
- 2,476 community service hours performed by Bronco student-athletes
- 56 local charities and schools impacted
