BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State football team's 2023 Mountain West schedule was released by the conference, Thursday afternoon.
Ticket packages are available at BroncoSports.com/tickets.
It will be the conference's first season without divisions since 2012 (not including the 2020 season impacted by COVID-19).
Dates for the 2023 schedule are subject to change and kickoff times and broadcast information will be announced at a later date.
Boise State's conference schedule includes home games against San José State (Oct. 7), Wyoming (Oct. 28), New Mexico (Nov. 11) and Air Force (Nov. 25). The conference road tilts will be played at San Diego State (Sept. 22), at Colorado State (Oct. 14), at Fresno State (Nov. 4) and at Utah State (Nov. 18).
The Broncos' 2023 nonconference slate features road games at Washington (Sept. 2) and Memphis (Sept. 30), and home games against UCF (Sept. 9) and North Dakota (Sept. 16).
The 2023 MW Championship Game will be played on Dec. 2, featuring the two teams with the highest conference winning percentage.
Today's release represents the first phase in the 2023 football schedule process. MW national television partners CBS Sports and FOX Sports will now initiate a selection procedure which will include the shifting of additional games to non-Saturday dates. That will be followed by the identification of network outlets and kick times.
Boise State enters the 2023 season with a streak of 25-consecutive winning seasons (1998-2022), tied with Florida (1988-2012) and Virginia Tech (1993-2017) for the 11th-longest streak in Football Bowl Subdivision history. The streak is the longest by a school in the Group of Five all-time, and the longest active streak nationally.
The Broncos have also achieved bowl-eligible status each of the last 25 years, the third-longest active streak in the country and trailing only Ohio State (34) and Georgia (26).
