Tevin Griffey joins program after four years at Florida A&M

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State head football coach Spencer Danielson announced the addition of a sixth transfer that will immediately enroll and join the program. Tevin Griffey is now officially a Bronco after spending the past four years at Florida A&M.

Griffey will begin classes this week and will be available for spring practice.

He played 23 games for FAMU, totaling 24 tackles (15 solo, nine assisted) and was credited with one blocked kick and one interception which was returned 10 yards for a touchdown.

Athleticism runs in the family as his older brother, Trey, played football at Arizona. His father played a different sport, spending 22 years in Major League Baseball with the Seattle Mariners, Cincinnati Reds and Chicago White Sox. His grandfather, Ken Sr., also is a 22-year MLB veteran that played for the Cincinnati Reds, New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves and Seattle Mariners.

Fans can now reserve their seats for the 2024 season today by placing a deposit of just $24 down for new season tickets or renewals. The 2024 home schedule features Nevada, Oregon State, Portland State, San Diego State, Utah State and Washington State visiting The Blue as the Broncos look to become the first Mountain West program to repeat as champion since San Diego State in 2015-16.
