Funds raised will directly support Bronco student-athletes in pursuit of their dreams
BOISE, Idaho – In partnership with Boise State Athletics, running back Ashton Jeanty has launched the Ashton Jeanty Endowed Scholarship for Football designated to support future Bronco student-athletes as they pursue their dreams.
"Bronco Nation, thank you for the outpouring of support for me and my teammates," said Jeanty. "So many of you have reached out to ask what you can do to help me leave a legacy and here's your opportunity. Join me by helping to fund this scholarship and help future Broncos to realize their dreams."
Those interested in contributing to Jeanty's scholarship can learn more and donate at http://boi.st/jeanty. Fans who contribute $1,000 or more will receive a limited-edition poster signed by Jeanty. The campaign is being facilitated through the Boise State University Foundation.
"This is a really special time at Boise State and Ashton is a phenomenal representative of our institution," said athletic director Jeramiah Dickey. "What a privilege it is to support a once-in-a-lifetime athlete, person and leader like Ashton. It is humbling to see him use his platform and story to further improve the lives of others. It speaks to what type of person he has been since he made Boise his home-away-from-home. Thank you, Ashton, for being a great representative of what it means to be a Bronco. I hope Bronco Nation joins in making a donation to this important cause led by a true Bronco."
"Ashton inspires joy and awe with his grace, athleticism, strength and love for the game of football. I am most proud of the incredible young man he is, on and off the field. I watch him celebrate his teammates, work with exceptional energy, and take the field with a courageous, 'nothing is impossible' mindset," said Dr. Marlene Tromp, president. "We are so proud to call him a Bronco and to have him on the national stage representing Boise State. He truly embodies the spirit of our university."
"We are so proud of Ashton and the man he has become on and off the field," said Ashton's mother, Pamela Jeanty. "We recognize the impact pursuing one's dream can have on families and we will be forever grateful to those who came before us and made an investment in Bronco football. Like Ashton, we will always Bleed Blue. We hope you will join us and fund this scholarship."

Led by Spencer Danielson in his first full season, Boise State looks to become the first Mountain West program to win back-to-back championships since San Diego State did so in 2015-16. Achieving such a feat will put Boise State in the discussion for the new, expanded, 12-team College Football Playoff format beginning this fall. Last year, Danielson became the first coach in college football history to win a conference championship with an interim title.
