Men's Golf Inks Trio

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State men's golf signed three student-athletes, head coach David Trainor announced, Wednesday.
 
Sean Lampropoulos (Salt Lake City, Utah, East HS)
Lampropoulos became the youngest winner of the Salt Lake City Amateur when he shot 72-66-138 in 2023. His tournament titles include the 2022 Utah Jr. Golf Association's Tin Cup, the 2023 Salt Lake City PGA Jr. Major, the 2024 Utah Jr. PGA Utah County Major and the 2024 Utah Jr. PGA Major (tied). He is a three-time all-state selection as a prep. Off the course, he sports a 3.8 GPA and received the Congressional Award, which recognizes initiative, service and achievement in various categories and is presented by U.S. Congress.
  
Grant Potter (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Coeur d'Alene HS)
Potter has earned three high school district medalist honors in the last four years. In 2023, he had a stellar year that included top-five finishes at the Idaho State Junior, the Idaho State Amateur and the Idaho High School State Championship. He also placed in the top 10 of the WJGA Eastern Open, which included a first round 65.
 
Ryan Shepherd (Boise, Idaho, Timberline HS)
Shepherd was the champion of the JGAA Phoenix Metro, the Idaho State Junior and the McCall Junior Am in 2022. He carded a tournament low 64 and finished second in the 2023 Rocky Mountain Section. He shot 5-under to win a 2023 AJGA qualifier. His top-10 finishes include the 2023 JGAA Desert Mashie, the 2023 AJGA Big Sky and the 2024 JGAA Fall Classic.
