
Broncos in the NFL: Week 12

BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State football program will be represented by seven former players in Week 12 of the NFL season. Alexander Mattison (Las Vegas Raiders) and JL Skinner (Denver Broncos) will meet on Sunday afternoon, with Scott Matlock and the Los Angeles Chargers closing the weekend with a Monday Night Football showdown against the Baltimore Ravens.
SUNDAY
Washington Commanders (John Bates, Jeremy McNichols) vs. Dallas Cowboys – FOX, 11 a.m.
Last Week: Bates had two catches for 17 yards, his first multi-reception game since Week 15 of the 2023 season. McNichols tallied six yards from scrimmage, all on Washington's final scoring drive. The Commanders lost to the NFC East-leading Philadelphia Eagles, 26-18.
Minnesota Vikings (Brett Rypien) at Chicago Bears – FOX, 11 a.m.
Last Week: Rypien was inactive in Minnesota's 23-13 win over the Tennessee Titans. With the victory, the Vikings moved to 8-2, tied for the second-best record in the NFC.
Tennessee Titans (John Ojukwu) at Houston Texans – CBS, 11 a.m.
Last Week: Ojukwu was inactive in Tennessee's 23-13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
Las Vegas Raiders (Alexander Mattison) vs. Denver Broncos (JL Skinner) – CBS, 2:05 p.m.
Last Week: Mattison totaled 69 yards from scrimmage, including 50 receiving yards, his most since Sept. 26, 2021. His 31-yard reception was the Raiders' longest play of the game. Las Vegas fell to the Miami Dolphins, 34-19. Skinner matched his career-high with two tackles while playing 20 special teams snaps, tied for the team-high. The Broncos beat the Atlanta Falcons, 38-6.
MONDAY
Los Angeles Chargers (Scott Matlock) vs. Baltimore Ravens – ABC/ESPN, 6:15 p.m.
Last Week: Matlock was a major contributor on both sides of the ball in the Chargers' 34-27 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He had one tackle on defense and played 22 offensive snaps, making a key block on a 29-yard touchdown run from J.K. Dobbins that gave Los Angeles the lead with 18 seconds remaining in the game. The Chargers are riding a four-game winning streak and sit at 7-3, the fourth-best record in the AFC.
