Broncos in the NFL: Week 13

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State football will be represented by 11 former players during a busy weekend of NFL action. Alexander Mattison and the Las Vegas Raiders begin the games with a Friday afternoon matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs

Nine former Broncos are set to play Sunday, with former teammates Scott Matlock (Los Angeles Chargers) and Avery Williams (Atlanta Falcons) facing off. Also battling each other are former teammates John Ojukwu (Tennessee Titans) and John Bates (Washington Commanders), with Bates being joined by fellow Boise State product Jeremy McNichols.

The weekend will end with two Broncos showcasing their skills on national television. Khalil Shakir and the Buffalo Bills will play on Sunday Night Football, hosting the San Francisco 49ers. Monday Night Football will feature JL Skinner and the Denver Broncos hosting the Cleveland Browns.

FRIDAY
Las Vegas Raiders (Alexander Mattison) at Kansas City Chiefs – Prime Video, 1 p.m.
Last Week: Mattison was inactive in the Raiders' 29-19 loss to the Denver Broncos.

SUNDAY
Los Angeles Chargers (Scott Matlock) at Atlanta Falcons (Avery Williams) – CBS, 11 a.m.
Last Week: Matlock started at fullback and made one tackle on defense for the Chargers, playing 39 total snaps. Los Angeles fell to the Baltimore Ravens, 30-23. Williams and the Falcons were off last week. The previous week, they fell to the Denver Broncos, 38-6. Williams tied for the team lead with 24 special teams snaps, returning two punts for 22 yards and making one tackle.

Washington Commanders (John Bates, Jeremy McNichols) vs. Tennessee Titans (John Ojukwu) – CBS, 11 a.m.
Last Week: Bates started at tight end and had a 13-yard reception while McNichols ran for 22 yards on three carries in Washington's 34-26 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Ojuwku played for the Titans in their 32-27 win over the Houston Texans.

Jacksonville Jaguars (Ezra Cleveland) at Houston Texans – FOX, 11 a.m.
Last Week: The Jaguars were off last week. In Jacksonville's previous game, Cleveland started at left guard and played 47 offensive snaps in a 52-6 loss to the NFC North-leading Detroit Lions.

Minnesota Vikings (Brett Rypien) vs. Arizona Cardinals – FOX, 11 a.m.
Last Week: Rypien was inactive in Minnesota's 30-27 win over the Chicago Bears. The Vikings are 9-2, tied for the third-best record in the league.

New Orleans Saints (Cedrick Wilson Jr.) vs. Los Angeles Rams – FOX, 2:05 p.m.
Last Week: The Saints were off last week but defeated the Cleveland Browns in Week 11, 35-14. Wilson Jr. played 10 offensive snaps and four special teams snaps in the win.

Buffalo Bills (Khalil Shakir) vs. San Francisco 49ers – NBC/Peacock, 6:20 p.m.
Last Week: The Bills were off in Week 12 but previously beat the Kansas City Chiefs, 30-21, dealing the defending Super Bowl champions their first loss of the year. Shakir led the team in receptions (8) and yards (70), earning a career-high 81.1 PFF grade. He recorded 54 yards after catch, picking up four first downs and forcing one missed tackle. 

MONDAY
Denver Broncos (JL Skinner) vs. Cleveland Browns – ESPN, 6:15 p.m.

Last Week: Skinner played 24 special teams snaps, second-most on the team and second-most this season. The Broncos beat the Las Vegas Raiders, 29-19, improving their record to 7-5.
