
Broncos in the NFL: Week 10

BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State Broncos will be represented by 10 players in six NFL games on Sunday. Three contests will feature former teammates facing each other. Cedrick Wilson Jr. and the New Orleans Saints will host Avery Williams and the Atlanta Falcons for an NFC South tilt while Ezra Cleveland and the Jacksonville Jaguars visit Brett Rypien and Cleveland's former team, the Minnesota Vikings. The afternoon window will see Scott Matlock and the Los Angeles Chargers battle John Ojukwu and the Tennessee Titans.
SUNDAY
Buffalo Bills (Khalil Shakir) at Indianapolis Colts – CBS, 11 a.m.
Last Week: Shakir caught six passes for 50 yards in Buffalo's 30-27 win over the Miami Dolphins. He accounted for three of the Bills' seven-longest passes and forced four missed tackles, the most among NFL pass-catchers in Week Nine. He also recorded 59 yards after catch, the third-highest total among wide receivers. The former Bronco leads all NFL wide receivers in percentage of targets caught (95.5), yards after catch (359) and missed tackles forced (14). The Bills sit atop the AFC East standings at 7-2.
Denver Broncos (JL Skinner) at Kansas City Chiefs – CBS, 11 a.m.
Last Week: Skinner played 23 special teams snaps, tying for the team-high. His Pro Football Focus special teams grade of 88.8 was the third-highest among NFL players who played more than 20 snaps. The Broncos lost to the Baltimore Ravens, 41-10.
Atlanta Falcons (Avery Williams) at New Orleans Saints (Cedrick Wilson Jr.) – FOX, 11 a.m.
Last Week: Williams totaled 58 return yards, including a season-long 29-yard kick return. He also had a solo tackle on punt coverage, helping the Falcons to a 27-21 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Atlanta is 6-3, leading the NFC South. Wilson Jr. had two receptions for 34 yards in the Saints' 23-22 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
Washington Commanders (John Bates, Jeremy McNichols) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers – CBS, 11 a.m.
Last Week: Bates started at tight end and played 32 offensive snaps while McNichols ran for 20 yards in Washington's 27-22 victory over the New York Giants. The Commanders are 7-2 and lead the NFC East.
Jacksonville Jaguars (Ezra Cleveland) vs. Minnesota Vikings (Brett Rypien) – FOX, 11 a.m.
Last Week: Cleveland was inactive in Jacksonville's 28-23 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Rypien was inactive in Minnesota's 21-13 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Los Angeles Chargers (Scott Matlock) vs. Tennessee Titans (John Ojukwu) – FOX, 2:05 p.m.
Last Week: Matlock started at fullback while playing 14 defensive snaps and 14 special teams plays. This marked his third game of the year playing double-digit snaps in all three phases. The Boise State product had one tackle and was Los Angeles' highest-graded pass blocker in the Chargers' 27-10 win over the Cleveland Browns. Ojuwku played 30 offensive snaps for the Titans in their 20-17 overtime win over the New England Patriots. His PFF pass blocking grade of 74.8 was the second-highest among Tennessee's offensive linemen.

Led by Spencer Danielson in his first full season, Boise State looks to become the first Mountain West program to win back-to-back championships since San Diego State did so in 2015-16. Achieving such a feat will put Boise State in the discussion for the new, expanded, 12-team College Football Playoff format beginning this fall. Last year, Danielson became the first coach in college football history to win a conference championship with an interim title.
