Football Announces 2025 Early Signing Class

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State head coach Spencer Danielson announced the addition of 22 players for the Broncos' 2025 early signing class. The group features nine offensive players, 12 defensive players and one specialist. Five student-athletes hail from Washington, with California and Texas producing four players apiece. The class also includes three international student-athletes. 

Here is a glimpse at the 2025 early signing class:

Josiah Alanis, DB | 6-1/178 | Vancouver, Wash./Evergreen HS
Three-star recruit according to On3, 247Sports and ESPN…247Sports lists him as the top safety and No. 8 overall recruit in Washington…made 37 tackles, including a solo sack…had a pair of interceptions…was the team's primary punt returner, averaging 37.8 yards per return and scoring on a 66-yard return…won the 2024 state title in the long jump, leaping 24'1" to set a state meet record.

Ja'Bree Bickham, DB | 6-3/179 | McKinney, Texas/McKinney HS
Three-star recruit according to On3, 247Sports and ESPN…had five interceptions and three pass breakups…totaled 24 tackles…also played wide receiver, catching 28 passes for 350 yards and two touchdowns…competed on McKinney's track and field team, clocking a 10.98 in the 100…leaped 20'9" in the long jump and 40'7.75" in the triple jump.

Bol Bol, EDGE | 6-4/223 | Brooks, Alberta/Yelm HS
Three-star recruit according to On3, 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN…ESPN lists him as the No. 2 EDGE recruit in Washington while Rivals ranks him No. 3…4A SPSL League Defensive Lineman of the Year…led the Tornados to a 7-3 record and appearance in the 4A playoffs…played his first three years of high school at Brooks Composite, located in Alberta, Canada.

Samuel Brooks, DB | 6-1/180 | Jacksonville, Fla./Dodge City CC
Spent the 2024 season with Dodge City CC, where he was a first-team all-conference selection…totaled a team-high 89 tackles, ranking second in the conference and 11th in the nation…posted 6.5 TFLs…recorded 10+ tackles in five games, including a pair of 14-tackle efforts…broke up six passes, recovered a fumble and blocked a kick…No. 8 JUCO safety according to 247Sports.

Quinton Brown, WR | 5-8/163 | Argyle, Texas/Liberty Christian School
Three-star recruit according to On3, 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN…first-team all-state selection…totaled 3,500 all-purpose yards and 42 touchdowns in 40 games played at Liberty Christian…as a senior, caught 52 passes for 716 yards and nine touchdowns while totaling 566 yards and one touchdown on returns…caught 50 passes for 718 yards and 18 touchdowns as a junior while collecting 385 yards and three touchdowns on returns…led team to state championship in 2023…state champion in the 100, clocking a 10.51.

Dominik Calhoun, DB | 5-11/181 | Pittsburg, Calif./Pittsburg HS
Three-star recruit according to On3, 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN…recorded 68 tackles, including 4.0 TFLs…had 1one interception and five pass breakups…led Pittsburg to a North Coast Section title…saw time on offense, catching four passes for 141 yards and one touchdown…also ran track, clocking a 11.13 in the 100, 22.72 in the 200 and 50.27 in the 400.

Three-star recruit according to On3, 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN…top 100 recruit in California according to Rivals and ESPN…first team all-conference as a senior…made 37 tackles, including one for loss…had one interception and one forced fumble…also ran track, clocking a 10.79 in the 100, 22.18 in the 200 and 50.12 in the 400 as a junior.

Arthur de Boachie, DB | 6-0/188 | Amsterdam, The Netherlands/NFL Academy (England)
Three-star recruit according to 247Sports…played on both sides of the ball during his time at the NFL Academy, playing safety and wide receiver…spent the 2024 season playing safety for the Rotterdam Trojans of the Belgian National League.

Dallyn Grimes, OL | 6-4/263 | Middleton, Idaho/Middleton HS
Three-star recruit according to On3, 247Sports and ESPN…No. 1 recruit in Idaho according to 247Sports…No. 2 recruit in Idaho according to On3 and ESPN…Middleton reached the 6A State Quarterfinals and finished second in its conference.

AJ Jones, WR | 6-1/183 | Murrieta, Calif./Vista Murrieta HS
Three-star recruit according to On3, 247Sports and ESPN…tallied 738 yards and eight touchdowns on 64 catches…recorded 430 yards and one touchdown on 14 returns and ran for 94 yards on eight attempts…also ran track, clocking a 10.89 in the 100 as a junior.

Carter Kuchenbuch, TE | 6-5/238 | Okanogan, Wash./Okanogan HS
Three-star recruit according to On3, 247Sports and ESPN…No. 11 recruit in Washington according to 247Sports…Washington 2B Player of the Year…led Okanogan to a state title and was named all-conference as a quarterback and defensive end…compiled 1,953 passing yards and 33 touchdowns while running for 2,214 yards and 52 touchdowns in his career…averaged 15.1 yards per completion and 9.2 yards per rush…totaled 93 tackles, including 9.0 sacks and 13.5 TFLs…forced two fumbles and blocked two kicks.

Three-star recruit according to On3, 247Sports and ESPN…On3 ranks him as the No. 5 recruit in Washington…GSHL Offensive Player of the Year…totaled 2,975 all-purpose yards and 32 touchdowns in 27 games at Skyview…as a senior, tallied 876 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns on 53 catches while running for 350 yards and three touchdowns on 54 carries…caught 34 passes for 701 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior…played defensively, totaling 57 tackles and two interceptions returned for touchdowns…also scored two touchdowns on kick returns.
