Bronco tailback heading to Indianapolis

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State extended its streak to 20 consecutive years of having a Bronco invited to the National Football League Scouting Combine as the league issued its invitations Tuesday.

Running back George Holani became the 56th Bronco to be invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. He compiled 3,596 yards and 26 touchdowns on the ground over his five seasons in the Treasure Valley with another 777 yards and eight touchdowns receiving.

Over his collegiate career, he totaled 4,479 all-purpose yards, 10th-most in Boise State history. He is one of six Mountain West players to receive an invitation in 2024.

Holani is one of 321 prospects to receive an invitation to this year's combine, which will take place in Indianapolis from Feb. 26 through Mar. 4. The California native is one of 29 running backs invited.

Boise State has had at least one player invited to the NFL Scouting Combine since 2005. The first Bronco to receive a Combine invitation was Jeff Lindsley in 1989.

Live coverage of the 2024 Combine can be seen on NFL Network and NFL+ beginning Feb. 29.
