Boise State Announces Change in Leadership for Cross Country and Track and Field Programs

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State director of athletics Jeramiah Dickey announced Tuesday that Corey Ihmels is no longer the head coach for the Boise State University cross country and track and field programs. A national search for a new head coach will begin immediately.

Gavin O'Neal, assistant coach, will serve as interim head coach for the remainder of the season.

"I am grateful for the time Corey has served our institution and community, " said Dickey. "We wish him and his family all the best in their next chapter."
