BOISE, Idaho – Boise State men's golfer Cole Rueck has been selected for the Stanford Regional, the NCAA announced Wednesday.
Rueck qualified for a NCAA Regional by way of his victory at the Mountain West Championships, Sunday, April 28. Rueck shot 7-under 209 to win his first collegiate tournament.
This marks the ninth time Boise State will send an individual to a NCAA Regional, and the first since Brian Humphreys was also sent to the Stanford Regional after winning the Mountain West title in 2017.
The 54-hole tournament will be conducted May 13-15 at the Stanford Golf Course. The top five teams and the low individual not on those teams will advance to the NCAA Championships, May 24-29, at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, in Carlsbad, Calif.
