BOISE, Idaho – Boise State men's golf coach David Trainor has announced the addition of Chase Gorder to the roster. Gorder (Anthem, Ariz.) joins the Broncos as a transfer from New Mexico with four years of eligibility remaining.
Gorder spent his freshman season with the Lobos, but he did not appear in any tournaments. He was included on the Dean's List in his lone year at New Mexico.
"Chase is a strong player with a great story," Trainor said. "I look forward to getting him on campus, and we are thrilled to have Chase join our Boise State family."
In his amateur career, Gorder has been ranked in the top 250 of the Junior Golf Scoreboard and in the top 15 of the Junior Golf Association of Arizona rankings. He earned runner-up honors at the 2023 Ping Invitational and at the 2022 Ping Thunderbird Invitational.
While competing at Boulder Creek HS, Gorder was a four-time team MVP and was named to the All-District team.
