Two of nation’s most successful programs to meet at Notre Dame Stadium
BOISE, Idaho – Boise State and Notre Dame jointly announced Tuesday that the two teams have agreed to play each other in 2025 at Notre Dame Stadium.
The contest, the first between the two programs, is set for Oct. 4, 2025. It will be the first time the Broncos will play a game in the state of Indiana.
Boise State and Notre Dame are two of the most successful FBS programs in the country, with both ranking in the top 10 nationally in all-time winning percentage. Boise State has a .725 all-time winning percentage to rank sixth while Notre Dame ranks fourth with a clip of .730. The Broncos have a .619 all-time mark in bowl games while Notre Dame's bowl record is currently at .500.
Tuesday's announcement follows last week's news that Boise State will host App State at Albertsons Stadium on Sept. 27, 2025. The Blue and Orange are scheduled to open the 2025 season at USF on Aug. 30, followed by a home game against Eastern Washington on Sept. 6.

COMING TO ALBERTSONS STADIUM THIS FALL
Boise State has one of the most appealing home schedules in school history this fall, with home games set against Portland State (Sept. 21), Washington state (Sept. 28), Utah State (Oct. 5), San Diego State (Nov. 1), Nevada (Nov. 9) and Oregon State (Nov. 29).
Led by Spencer Danielson in his first full season, Boise State looks to become the first Mountain West program to win back-to-back championships since San Diego State did so in 2015-16. Achieving such a feat will put Boise State in the discussion for the new, expanded, 12-team College Football Playoff format beginning this fall. Last year, Danielson became the first coach in college football history to win a conference championship with an interim title.
