Bronco Duo Named All-America Scholars

NORMAN, Okla. – Boise State men's golf student-athletes Will O'Connor and Cole Rueck were named 2023-24 NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars, Thursday.
 
O'Connor, owns a 4.00 GPA and completed his junior season in 2023-24. He appeared in all-11 regular season events and averaged 74.34 over 32 rounds.
 
Rueck won the 2024 Mountain West Championship as a sophomore and recently competed as an amateur at the Scottish Open on the PGA Tour. He has a 3.88 GPA. Both student-athletes are finance majors.
 
It is the first time since 2021-22 the Broncos have had multiple recipients (Skyler Eubank and Hugo Townsend).
 
To be eligible for the award, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0, and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. A recipient must also be of a high moral character and in good standing at their college or university.
