Broncos led the conference in attendance thanks to faithful community support 

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State Athletics shares key benchmarks from the 2023-24 fiscal year via the department's Annual Report director of athletics Jeramiah Dickey announced Thursday. The report details the department's growth, milestones, and impact driven by the #WhatsNext Initiative. View 2023-24 Boise State Athletics Annual Report

"Thank you Bronco Nation for your investment in the vision of Bronco Athletics and continuing to elevate our student-athletes," said Dickey. "The annual report is just a snapshot of all that has been accomplished to position Boise State Athletics for long-term success."

Today's announcement followed the news shared last week of the $20.8 million raised for the 2024 fiscal year.

Driven by the What's Next Initiative, Boise State Athletics focuses on four areas: revenue generation, infrastructure, marketability, and student-athlete experience. Key department benchmarks included the following. 

Revenue & Engagement

* 17% increase in attendance for seven ticketed sports which led the MW conference

* Set record for football with average season attendance at 35,867 

* Set single season attendance record for men's basketball at 169,017

* 33% increase in attendance for women's sports

Infrastructure

* Opened sales process for suites and club seats in North End Zone Project

* Installation of lights and scoreboards at sports venues

* Largest locker room modernization and upgrades in department history

* 50 infrastructure projects have been completed and 34 are currently being worked on

Marketability

* Milestones for Collegiate Licensing Royalties

* 48.5% growth in users for Bronco Sports App 

* Record-year for Bronco Sports Properties

Student-Athlete Experience

* Expand nutrition education for all student-athletes

* 2,645 community service hours performed by Bronco student-athletes at 388 events

* 63 local charities and schools impacted

Boise State will begin the new year of competition with women's soccer at home on Aug. 16 when it faces Portland State. Volleyball will open its season on the road in Tucson, Ariz. on Aug. 30 while football plays at Georgia Southern on Aug. 31 to open its 2024 campaign.
