Jeanty Named to Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Watch List

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State junior Ashton Jeanty was featured on the watch list for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award, SPORTyler announced. Last season, the running back was one of five national finalists for the award, which is presented to the top offensive player that graduated from a Texas high school or currently plays at an FBS program in Texas.
Jeanty is a graduate of Lone Star High School, located in Frisco, Texas. Last year, he was named Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Player of the Week on Nov. 28. He was also selected to the organization's weekly honorable mention list twice. Six organizations placed him on their All-America teams, including three that bestowed first team honors. The Heisman candidate was the only player in the nation with multiple rushing and receiving touchdowns of 50+ yards, tallying two of each. He was the first FBS player since 2016 to eclipse 1,000 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards in a 10-game span.
So far this year, 10 outlets have featured Jeanty on their preseason All-America lists, with three tabbing him to the first team. He was the lone running back selected to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List and also earned inclusion on the watch lists for the Doak Walker, Maxwell and Walter Camp awards. The Broncos' team captain was named Mountain West Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and was recognized as preseason All-MW by five groups.

While the season ticket packages, flex passes and mini-plans offer the best seats available, single-game tickets are still a great option to get out to see the Broncos on The Blue this fall. Led by Spencer Danielson in his first full season, Boise State looks to become the first Mountain West program to win back-to-back championships since San Diego State did so in 2015-16. Achieving such a feat will put Boise State in the discussion for the new, expanded, 12-team College Football Playoff format beginning this fall. Last year, Danielson became the first coach in college football history to win a conference championship with an interim title.
