Boise State Concludes Golfweek Fall Challenge

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The Boise State women's golf team opened the 2024-25 season with a seventh-place finish at the Golfweek Fall Challenge. The event was held at the 6,209-yard, par-71 Caledonia Golf and Fish Club. Jillian Hui paced the Broncos with a career-low 215 (+2), tying for 18th.

The Broncos climbed the leaderboard each day. A rain-delayed first round saw Boise State tie for 11th but the Blue and Orange fired a 285 (+1) to tie for eighth after two rounds. A 293 (+9) on the day pushed the Broncos up to their final standing of seventh.

Notables

Jillian Hui recorded career-bests for lowest round (70, -1), lowest 54-hole score (215, +2) and highest finish (T-18th).
Emily Cadwell and Brooke Patterson both fired a 223 (+10) in their Boise State debuts. Patterson was even in the second round, matching her single-round career-best.
As a team, the Broncos tied for third with an average of 3.04 strokes on par-3 holes. Boise State's total of 178 pars also ranked third.

What's Next
The Broncos will compete in the Golfweek Red Sky Classic from Sept. 23-25. The tournament is hosted at Red Sky Golf Course in Wolcott, Colorado.
