Traditional activities, exclusive access and videoboard messages will add to game day atmosphere

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State football will play its 2024 home opener four days from today and Bronco Nation has a lot to look forward to as part of their return to Albertsons Stadium.

Fans interested in making their game day stand-out are invited to check out new premium and one-of-a-kind experiences that range from behind-the-scenes tours of Bleymaier Football Center and Albertsons Stadium, to a reserved VIP area near the Allen Noble Hall of Fame to watch Bronco players and coaches fist bump the Lyle Smith statue and fans during the Bronco Walk, to pregame and 4th quarter field access, and finally, an opportunity to celebrate a special occasion with a custom videoboard message during the game. Prices vary by game and supplies are limited.

The new 2nd Quarter Club will open at the break between the first and second quarter and is located in the Hall of Fame, at  the southwest corner of Albertsons Stadium. Club members will have the option to enjoy the game from the outdoor patio that will feature high-top tables and heaters or in the climate-controlled interior to watch the game on a new 38 square feet video wall. The 2nd Quarter Club includes an all-inclusive game day buffet and non-alcoholic beverages, in addition to a cashless bar serving spirits. Only 250 passes will be available for  each game.

Back again are the Ford Tailgate Zone on DeChevrieux Field, the Keith and Catherine Stein Blue Thunder Marching Band, Blitz, Bronco Girl and the Bronco Walk.

The Ford Fan Zone located on the Hall of Fame Plaza and inside DeChevrieux Field is free to everyone and includes an area for kids to play, including the yard games corn hole and spike ball, food trucks, hassle-free tailgating, photo stations with Bronco themed-backdrops, and more. Fans can also reserve their own private tailgate location now by visiting Boise State Tailgate.

With over 220 members, the Keith and Catherine Stein Blue Thunder Marching Band will celebrate its 38th Anniversary in 2024.

Cathy Jo Ayotte, aka Bronco Girl, is back with her favorite Bronco, Petey, to lead the Boise State football team onto The BLUE.

Prior to home games, the Bronco football team will take part in the Bronco Walk from the Student Union Building to Albertsons Stadium. The Bronco Walk begins two hours and forty-five minutes prior to kickoff at each home game.

The Blue Chaos Flag also makes its return and will set the stage for the game. Shortly before kickoff, in the northwest corner of the stadium, a Bronco legend will raise the flag and invite Bronco Nation to bring the "chaos" by achieving a noise level of 100 decibels or more to signal that Bronco Nation is ready to go.

Introduced last season, the Double R Ranch Franken Flinger will shoot t-shirts into the stands.

The team will expand the use of the LED lights, incorporating more light show enhancements throughout the game that will be synchronized to music via a new audio system to provide more immersive sound throughout the stadium.
