What's Next for 2025 and Beyond

Dear Bronco Nation,
Â
As we emerge from the holidays and move toward What's Next, I want to express my gratitude for your overwhelming support in finishing a historic season for Boise State Athletics.
Â
You exceeded every challenge we threw your way. You rallied behind Coach Danielson and this team for seven sellouts, including an all-time single-game attendance record against Washington State.
Â
As you championed the best player in college football with homemade signs and impassioned "Heisman" chants and bolstered our defense with deafening applause, it was clear the energy at Albertsons Stadium was epic this season.
Â
Witnessing Bronco Nation's unrivaled enthusiasm week in and week out was a privilege, and having it culminate in the celebration of our first back-to-back Mountain West Championships on The Blue was special.
Â
It was an honor to share that landmark moment with you, cementing one of the greatest seasons ever for our storied program.
Â
You are bar raisers, constantly redefining what's possible for our student-athletes and this University.
Â
Thank you.
Â
WHAT'S NEXT
Â
This mantra is more relevant than ever as we enter a transformational year.
Â
"What's Next" is more than a mindset for us. It is a survival instinct and a driver of the innovation we pride ourselves on at Boise State.
Â
In 2025, we have an incredible opportunity to live up to our name.
Â
On July 1, we are planning for revenue sharing with student-athletes to begin.
Â
Our department is committed to providing a first-class experience with comprehensive development and support for all our student-athletes. In the future, revenue sharing is another form of support we can provide student-athletes in addition to scholarships and other academic resources.
Â
Fulfilling that commitment and remaining competitive in this new landscape means growing existing revenue streams and identifying new ones to ensure we can invest in our staff and facilities and adequately recruit and retain the student-athletes who embody what it means to be a Bronco.
Â
Bronco Nation is at the heart of every decision we make, and you deserve transparency. As we celebrate our inaugural CFP appearance and look ahead to what 2025 has in store for us, I want to share the following:
Â
On January 21, football season ticket members will receive their renewal invoices. With careful thought and analysis, some sections will see price increases for the first time since I arrived on campus.
Â
Ticket sales revenue is an essential part of our operating budget, and these changes are necessary to ensure our programs remain at a championship level. We know your energy on game day creates the home-field advantage our student-athletes thrive on. Make no mistake: we value the environment you create and recognize the impact of this decision.
Â
Specific pricing information will be available in the coming weeks. We are confident we can appropriately balance affordability and market value to support our sustained success. Please know we will work hard to ensure no Broncos are left behind.
Â
As we navigate the unpredictable environment associated with the industry and the opportunities presented to student-athletes, our goal is to continue to create an elite culture and provide life-changing experiences for student-athletes at Boise State. In doing so, and as bar raisers, our need for additional support has never been greater.
Â
Our student-athletes want to be here, and it is no surprise other universities take notice of the extraordinary young men and women in our programs who succeed on a national level.
Â
Today, the Horseshoe Collective is our immediate fundraising priority. Recruiting and retaining Bronco student-athletes is now a year-round effort. Please consider making a contribution as we officially announce a $500,000 campaign through the end of the academic year. Every dollar counts.
Â
In the near future, there will be another avenue to support this cause.
Â
You may remember an announcement regarding BroncoPRO. When you renew your season tickets or donate to Boise State Athletics in the future, you will have the option to designate your gift to our newly centralized, in-house NIL organization.
Â
Gifts to The Horseshoe Collective since its inception will be retroactively credited as Bronco Athletic Association priority points, and once live, BroncoPRO's designated fund will be rewarded similarly.
Â
We cannot rest on our laurels in 2025. While we are proud of everything we have accomplished, we are nowhere near finished. We will never stop. I am excited about the opportunities that exist for our student-athletes and Bronco Nation. Thank you for your incredible support as we attack What's Next!
Â
Go Broncos!
