BOISE, Idaho – Eleven former Boise State players will compete in Week Nine of the NFL season, including five in primetime. Cedrick Wilson Jr. and the Miami Dolphins open the week against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night, with the game airing on Prime Video. Five players and one head coach will be in action Sunday, then four Broncos wrap up the week on Monday Night Football. George Holani and DeMarcus Lawrence will lead the Seattle Seahawks into a showdown with John Bates, Jeremy McNichols and the Washington Commanders. Full Week Nine information is below. THURSDAY
Miami Dolphins (Cedrick Wilson Jr.) vs. Baltimore Ravens – Prime Video, 6:15 p.m.
Cedrick Wilson Jr. made his first appearance of the 2025 season, catching one pass for two yards in Miami's 34-10 win over the Atlanta Falcons. The seventh-year wide receiver has 122 catches for 1,482 yards and 12 touchdowns in his career.
SUNDAY
Los Angeles Chargers (Scott Matlock) at Tennessee Titans – CBS, 11 a.m.
Scott Matlock started at fullback and played a career-high 56 snaps in the Chargers' 37-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings. This was his third start of the season and he played a career-high 41 snaps on offense, helping Los Angeles run for a season-high 207 yards. At 5-3, the Chargers are tied for second in the AFC West.
Denver Broncos (JL Skinner) at Houston Texans – CBS, 11 a.m.
JL Skinner tallied one tackle and played a season-high 26 snaps in Denver's 44-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Skinner matched his career-high with six defensive snaps and made a tackle on kickoff coverage, earning a team-high Pro Football Focus special teams grade of 80.6. This was the sixth-highest special teams grade of the week among players with at least 20 snaps. The Broncos lead the AFC West at 6-2.
Las Vegas Raiders (Ashton Jeanty) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (Ezra Cleveland) – FOX, 2:05 p.m.
Ashton Jeanty returns from an off week after totaling 21 rushing yards and 13 receiving yards in the Raiders' 31-0 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. In his first seven games, Jeanty has totaled 531 scrimmage yards and five touchdowns. He has 384 yards after contact, 113 yards after catch and 32 missed tackles forced. Ezra Cleveland also returns from an off week after playing all 77 snaps in Jacksonville's 35-7 loss to the Rams, which was played in London. The left guard has not missed a snap for the Jaguars this season, one of three players to do so. Jacksonville is second in the AFC South at 4-3.
New Orleans Saints (Kellen Moore) at Los Angeles Rams – FOX, 2:05 p.m.
Kellen Moore and the Saints fell to the NFC South-leading Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 23-3. New Orleans completed a season-high 32 passes, with Tyler Shough completing 17 and Spencer Rattler adding 15.
Buffalo Bills (Khalil Shakir) vs. Kansas City Chiefs – CBS, 2:25 p.m.
Khalil Shakir led the Bills with six catches for 88 yards and one touchdown, helping them defeat the Carolina Panthers, 40-9. He scored on a season-long 54-yard reception and finished with 93 yards after catch and four missed tackles forced. He also added eight yards on punt returns. This season, Shakir is tied for the most missed tackles forced among wide receivers (14). He also ranks second in the group with 295 yards after catch. The Bills are second in the AFC East at 5-2 and rank third in the league in total offense, averaging 382.9 yards per game.
MONDAY
Seattle Seahawks (George Holani, DeMarcus Lawrence) at Washington Commanders (John Bates, Jeremy McNichols) – NBC, 6:20 p.m.
George Holani returned three kicks for 88 yards, including a career-best 34-yard return to set up a Seattle scoring drive. The second-year running back has 400 all-purpose yards this season. DeMarcus Lawrence notched two solo TFLs, including one sack, in the Seahawks' 27-19 win over the Houston Texans. The defensive end has three games this season and 23 games in his career with multiple TFLs. He leads Seattle with six this season. The Seahawks are returning from a week off and are tied for first in the NFC West at 5-2. Jeremy McNichols was Washington's leading receiver, catching five passes for 64 yards in a 28-7 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Both marked the second-highest single-game numbers of his career. He added a 4-yard rush and gained three first downs. John Bates made his 30th career start and had a season-long 22-yard reception. The tight end is the Commanders' highest-graded run blocker this season, earning a 68.9 PFF grade.
