Boise State Athletics Honors Student-Athlete Graduates at Ceremony

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State Athletics is proud to announce that 17 current and former student-athletes will earn degrees Saturday, as part of the 2025 Boise State University Winter Commencement at ExtraMile Arena.Â
The graduates represent four different sports including beach volleyball, football, soccer, and women's track & field. In partnership with the Master of Athletic Leadership program, the department will also recognize one graduate assistant who has been working within the department for the past two academic years.
A student-athlete graduation reception was held on Friday for all graduates and their families. During the reception, academic, and department awards were given to the following.
Academic Excellence is awarded to the male and female student-athlete in the graduating class with the highest cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA).
*Kenzie MacMillan, Soccer, 3.898 cumulative GPA
*Chase Penry, Football, 3.591 cumulative GPAÂ
Bronco In The Community is awarded to the student-athlete in the graduating class who has gone beyond in their efforts to give back.

Varsity B Honorary Captain is awarded to a student-athlete in the graduating class who displays commitment and service to the department and University beyond participation in sport.
