Boise State to Face Washington on Saturday
INGLEWOOD, Calif. – The Bucked Up LA Bowl Hosted by Gronk officially announced that it has selected Boise State to play in its 2025 game.
The Broncos (9-4, 6-2 Mountain West) will square off against Washington on Saturday, Dec. 13, at SoFi Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. MT and will be broadcast nationally on ABC.
The invitation came after Boise State took down UNLV, 38-21, in the 2025 Mountain West Championship. The win, which marked Boise State's third consecutive conference championship, allowed the LA Bowl to select the Broncos, as the bowl holds the first pick of MW teams.Â
Boise State will compete in a bowl game for the 28th consecutive season, the second-longest active streak in the nation. Only Georgia (29) has a longer active streak.
This will mark the Broncos' second appearance in the LA Bowl. Boise State partook in the 2023 iteration, falling to UCLA 35-22.
The LA Bowl will mark the Broncos' seventh all-time matchup against Washington, and the third in a bowl game. The two teams split the previous bowl matchups, both of which occurred at the Las Vegas Bowl; the Broncos defeated the Huskies 28-26 in 2012, while Washington was victorious, 38-7, in 2019. Â The Huskies lead the all-time series 4-2.
Since moving to the FBS ranks in 1996, Boise State is 13-9 in bowl games. Last season, the Broncos earned a berth in the Fiesta Bowl and College Football Playoff, dropping to No. 6 Penn State, 31-14, in the quarterfinal round.
The Broncos enter the contest on a three-game winning streak. Boise State's victory in the MW title tilt on Friday marked the program's seventh conference championship, the most in conference history. With the win, Spencer Danielson joined Lincoln Riley (Oklahoma, 2017-19) as the only two coaches to win three consecutive FBS conference titles in their first three seasons of their career.
The priority ticket request period for the LA Bowl hosted by Gronk is now open. There is a priority deadline of Monday, Dec. 8 at 5 p.m., after which seating will be subject to availability. Tickets in Boise State's allotment range from $115 to $175. To place your request, and for full postseason ticket details, click here.
Suites are available directly through SoFi Stadium here.
