BOISE, Idaho – Boise State has announced the addition of transfer punter Oscar Doyle, who spent the 2024 campaign at Weber State. Doyle will join the Broncos after being named one of 10 semifinalists for FCS Punter of the Year.

Doyle appeared in all 12 games during his lone season in Ogden, averaging 44.4 yards per punt. This ranked second in the Big Sky, 11th in the FCS and is the fourth-best single-season mark in Weber State history. He punted 47 times for 2,089 yards, with 20 punts landing inside the 20-yard line and 13 traveling over 50 yards.

Behind Doyle, Weber State finished fifth in the nation in net punting last season. The Wildcats allowed 64 punt return yards on his 47 attempts, averaging 42.2 net yards per punt. Doyle's longest punt in 2024 was 63 yards and his highest single-game punting average of 52.0 yards ranks fourth in program history. Only two of Doyle's punts were touchbacks. He also earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors.

A native of Brisbane, Australia, Doyle has experience in Australian Rules Football. He competed for Lions Academy in the Coates Talent League before transitioning to the U.S. game through Prokick Australia Brisbane.
