Former student-athlete will assist in the innovative approach for the new era of college athletics

BOISE, Idaho – Collin Stoecker, an experienced NIL and student-athlete development leader, has been named Assistant Athletic Director for BroncoPRO, Boise State Athletics announced on Friday.

The role within the newly-created department of Boise State Athletics will manage the day-to-day activities for BroncoPRO while creating revenue generating concepts and business development strategies. Stoecker will also be responsible for serving as one of the main organizational liaisons for all Boise State student-athletes as they pursue authentic NIL opportunities, and he will contribute with athlete onboarding and education, revenue-share scenario planning, contract management and athlete agency relations.

Stoecker is the sixth member of the BroncoPRO team, which is led by Cody Gougler, Deputy AD, External Affairs and BroncoPRO Chief Administrative Officer. The previous staff additions and department structure were announced in March.

In his time at Western Kentucky, Stoecker led WKU's comprehensive NIL programming and student-athlete development. For the last two years, he was the Assistant AD for Student-Athlete Development & NIL, which saw him assist student-athletes with brand-building and earning NIL deals with corporate and community partners. He worked closely with WKU's NIL collective, Hilltopper Sports Properties and merchandise providers. He was recognized for his work by Campus Ink NIL Store in 2023-24 as the NIL Director of the Year and Best School Activation.

Stoecker began his time at WKU in 2022 as the Director of Student-Athlete Development. He launched the WKU Athletics Overtime Program to provide short-term internship opportunities for student-athletes with non-traditional summers, established the CLIMB Leadership Academy, and coordinated career workshop and community service opportunities for student-athletes.

Prior to WKU, Stoecker served as a program coordinator for the University of Notre Dame GLD Center. He oversaw community service for all 26 varsity teams, was the staff advisor to the student-athlete advisory council, assisted with the Rosenthal Leadership Academy, and raised money for community partners through his founding of the Fighting Irish Fight for Life Executive Board.

Stoecker pitched for Notre Dame during his career as a student-athlete. He graduated from Notre Dame in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in marketing. He went on to earn his master's in sport administration from Louisville in 2022.
