The in-house studio will feature local sports anchor with free, live programming for Bronco Nation

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State Athletics will launch Bronco Studios and has hired award-winning local sports anchor Jay Tust as the host of Bronco Studios' live and on-demand shows to help advance Boise State's storytelling for Bronco Nation.

With a scheduled launch in early August, Bronco Studios is an in-house media studio that will produce daily and weekly live shows as well as other Boise State Athletics original content. Focused on telling the story of Boise State student-athletes, coaches, staff, Bronco Nation and the Boise community, fans can watch the shows live and for free on Boise State Athletics' YouTube and social media channels as well as on-demand on BroncoSports.com and the Bronco Sports mobile app.

"We are Bar Raisers, and bringing on Jay to serve as the face of Bronco Studios gives us a trusted voice for Bronco Nation from day one," said Jeramiah Dickey, Boise State Director of Athletics. "By creating this free, ad-supported Bronco Studios platform to tell our story, our fans will have a new way to stay up-to-date with our news while being informed and entertained by an elite talent like Jay. We also know this will help create additional assets and opportunities for our partners throughout the community as we navigate What's Next for our Broncos!"

"We are witnessing arguably the biggest transformation in the history of college sports, but led by Jeramiah Dickey, Boise State Athletics continues to accept the challenge and view it as an opportunity," Tust said. "The chance to lead Bronco Studios' live programming is an innovative idea on the right side of the cutting edge. It also allows me to stay involved with a community my family and I love, sharing stories about coaches and athletes I respect, and for a fan base I cherish.

"From Kellen Moore's 50th and final win, to Ashton Jeanty's 2,601st rushing yard, I've been on the sidelines for everything in between. Boise State continues to be one of the best success stories in the NCAA, and I can't wait to be a part of #WhatsNext."

Tust joins Boise State after 14  years at KTVB NewsChannel 7, the NBC affiliate in Boise and official television station for Bronco Nation. He was originally hired as the weekend sports reporter in 2011 but ascended to the sports director role in 2013. He won the regional Edward R. Murrow Award in 2015 and a northwest regional Emmy Award in 2019. He is also a 10-time Idaho Sports Broadcaster of the Year as named by the Idaho Press Club.

Bronco Studios will feature exclusive all-access to Boise State's 18 programs, interviews with student-athletes and coaches, and original programming such as "The C.L.I.M.B." and "Inside Training Camp." Boise State Athletics is in development of content franchises, including athlete-driven and NIL-sponsored series and episodes, debuting this fall.

In addition to live and on-demand shows, Bronco Studios will also be Boise State Athletics' new home to the live production and post-production staff. Located on the west side of Albertsons Stadium, in the former Bronco Shop, the space will feature dedicated office areas alongside a live production studio.

Boise State produces more than 60 game broadcasts a year and was named a finalist this year for Outstanding Live Game Production by the SVG College Sports Media Awards. The Boise State staff also produced several new longform series and features this past year, including "The C.L.I.M.B." and B:60 Features highlighting human-interest stories from across the Bronco experience.

In addition to the launch of Bronco Studios, Boise State Athletics and Bronco Sports Properties extended their longstanding partnership with KTVB. Select Bronco Studios shows will be accessible on KTVB platforms.
