BOISE, Idaho – The Mountain West and its member schools have announced attendees for 2025 Mountain West Media Days. Boise State will be represented by head coach Spencer Danielson, offensive lineman Kage Casey and EDGE Jayden Virgin-Morgan at the event, held July 16-17 at Circa Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
The two-day event includes one-on-one interviews with all 12 head coaches and two student-athletes from every MW institution. Student-athletes will participate in interviews on Wednesday, July 16, while head coaches will be available on Thursday, July 17.
Danielson has been a member of the Boise State staff since 2017, leading the Broncos to back-to-back MW titles in 2023-24, winning the first as interim head coach. Last season, Boise State earned the No. 3 seed in the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff. Danielson was named MW Coach of the Year and AFCA Region 5 Coach of the Year as the Broncos finished the year with a 12-2 record and the No. 8 ranking in the final Associated Press poll.
Casey returns to anchor the Boise State offensive line after earning All-America honors from five outlets in 2024, including a second team nod from Walter Camp. He is a two-time All-MW selection and was named 2025 Phil Steele Preseason All-America Fourth Team. Last season, he ranked third among NCAA offensive tackles with a 99.3 pass blocking efficiency, according to Pro Football Focus. Boise State totaled a school-record 3,365 rushing yards and ranked fifth in the nation in scoring (37.3 ppg).
Virgin-Morgan led the Broncos in sacks (10.0) and tackles for loss (14.5) last season, ranking in the top five in the MW and top 20 in the FBS in both categories. He was named All-MW First Team after helping Boise State lead the country with 55 sacks and ranked third-nationally with 7.9 TFLs per game. The redshirt junior was one of 42 players named to the 2025 Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List, presented annually to the nation's top defensive player who makes an impact in character and performance.
