
Notarainni Nominated for Allstate AFCA Good Works Team

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State linebacker Marco Notarainni has been recognized as a nominee for the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, the organization announced. The Good Works Team will include 22 student-athletes and one head coach who make outstanding contributions to their communities. One student-athlete from the team will be the recipient of the Wuerffel Trophy, college football's premier award for community service.
Last season, Notarainni posted 60 total tackles, including 7.5 TFLs and 3.5 sacks. He also recovered two fumbles and broke up three passes. He was named Second Team Academic All-America by College Sports Communicators and secured All-Mountain West First Team honors. He garnered All-MW Honorable Mention in 2023 after notching 53 tackles, 4.5 TFLs and 3.0 sacks. He is a three-time MW Scholar-Athlete and three-time Academic All-MW selection.
Off the field, Notarainni is a significant contributor in the classroom and community. He was a Boise State University Top 10 Scholar and is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He routinely volunteers at elementary school, the Idaho Food Bank and the Boise Rescue Mission.
A native of San Diego, California, Notarainni earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He was tabbed Preseason All-MW First Team by Athlon Sports and Phil Steele.
