Notarainni Recognized on Allstate Wuerffel Trophy Watch List

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State linebacker Marco Notarainni earned a spot on the Allstate Wuerffel Trophy Watch List, the organization announced. The award is presented annually to the FBS player who best combines exemplary community service with leadership achievement on and off the field. On July 15, Notarainni was announced as a nominee for the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team.
Notarainni was an All-Mountain West First Team selection in 2024, finishing the year with 60 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. He tied for the MW lead with two fumble recoveries while adding three pass breakups. He was named College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Second Team, adding to a list of academic accolades that includes four MW Scholar-Athlete selections and three Academic All-MW honors. He is a Preseason All-MW selection and was named to the Shrine Bowl 1000 Watchlist.
The captain earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration and was honored as a Boise State University Top 10 Scholar. He is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Notarainni's volunteer activities include the Idaho Food Bank, Boise Rescue Mission and various elementary schools in the Treasure Valley.
