Jabril Frazier Named to 247Sports 30Under30 List

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State EDGE coach Jabril Frazier was one of 30 coaches across the country named to the 247Sports 30Under30 coaching list, the organization announced on Monday.
The award lists the top 30 Division I coaches under the age of 30. Frazier is the third Bronco in program history to earn the distinction, and the first since current wide receivers coach Matt Miller did so in 2020. Current head coach Spencer Danielson was the inaugural Bronco to earn the recognition, having been named to the list in 2018 prior to his first full season coaching as Boise State's outside linebackers coach.
Frazier played a huge role in the Broncos finishing the 2024 campaign first in the nation with 55 total sacks. Boise State also recorded 111 TFLs on the season, good for seventh across the country.
Since earning the full-time EDGE position in 2023, Frazier has played a key part in the development of the all-conference players Ahmed Hassanein and Jayden Virgin-Morgan. Hassanein ranked sixth in the country in sacks (12.5) in the 2023 season and tied for 16th (9.5) as a senior in 2024. Virgin-Morgan recorded 10 sacks as a redshirt sophomore in 2024, which was tied for 14th in the nation.
Between his career as a Boise State coach and student-athlete, Frazier has played a role in four Bronco conference championships. He won two as a player (2014, 2017) before claiming two as an assistant coach (2023, 2024).
Frazier had a dominant career as an EDGE rusher with Boise State, earning two All-Mountain West distinctions, including a first-team nod as a redshirt senior in 2018. In his four years with the Blue and Orange, he notched 18 career sacks and 24.5 TFLs in 28 starts.
After his career with the Broncos, he signed a free agent contract and took part in training camp with the New York Jets in 2019. He returned to Boise State as a graduate assistant coach in 2020 before assuming the full-time EDGE role in 2023.
