BOISE, Idaho – Boise State offensive linemen Kage Casey and Mason Randolph were included on the Senior Bowl Top 300, the organization announced. The list reflects the "Best of the Best" among draft-eligible college football players, as determined by the Senior Bowl scouting department, which is comprised of former NFL scouts. Casey and Randolph are two of six Mountain West players on the list. They are joined by San Diego State's Trey White and Chris Johnson, San Jose State's Walker Eget and Wyoming's John Michael Gyllenborg.
Casey is featured on the watch lists for the Lombardi Award and Outland Trophy. He was tabbed Preseason All-America by Walter Camp (first team), Athlon Sports (second team), ESPN (second team) and Phil Steele (fourth team). Last year, five outlets named him All-America, including The Athletic and Walter Camp, who selected him second team. The team captain did not allow any sacks and ranked third among FBS tackles in Pro Football Focus pass blocking efficiency (99.3).
Randolph is a Preseason All-MW selection and has earned Freshman All-America honors from the FWAA and College Football News. He returned from injury to be Boise State's top-rated run blocking offensive lineman in the MW Championship win over No. 20 UNLV. In 25 career games, he has allowed one sack. The redshirt senior has started 24 games for the Broncos, seeing time at center and left guard.
Casey and Randolph paved the way for a Boise State offense that ranked in the nation's top 10 in rushing (240.4 ypg), total yards (466.0 ypg), scoring (37.3 ppg), 3rd down conversions (49.5%) and first downs (328). The Broncos ran for a school-record 3,365 yards, winning their second consecutive MW title and earning a bye in the College Football Playoff.
