Boise State Student-Athletes Post a Historic 3.43 Semester GPA

196 Broncos Earn Dean's List Honors with a 3.5 GPA or Higher
BOISE, Idaho - Boise State student-athletes set another record during the 2025 fall semester by establishing a single-semester grade point average (GPA) of 3.43.Â
As a department, all 18 sport programs secured a 3.0 GPA or higher, with 70 student-athletes registering a perfect 4.0 GPA.Â
A record 196 student-athletes, or 55 percent of all Bronco student-athletes, were named to the Dean's List, which honors students who excel academically with a 3.50 GPA or higher in a semester.
"Our student-athletes embody what it means to be Bar Raisers," said Boise State Director of Athletics Jeramiah Dickey. "They continue to show that excellence isn't a choice between academics and athletics, it's the standard in both. We are proud of the way our Broncos represent Boise State while chasing championships on and off the field."
In addition to the overall single-semester GPA record for the athletic department, five sport programs established single-semester GPA milestones, including beach volleyball with 3.81, women's cross country/track & field with 3.70, men's golf with 3.68, men's tennis with 3.67 and softball with 3.65.
Four sport programs raised their cumulative GPAs to a new record, with women's golf leading the department at 3.79, women's cross country/track & field at 3.66, soccer at 3.61, and softball at 3.60.
The previous single-semester GPA record for Boise State was 3.42, set in the fall 2023 semester.
