BOISE, Idaho – Boise State wide receiver Rasean Jones was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week, the conference announced. The first-year standout had a team-high six catches for 78 yards in the Broncos' 31-10 win at Washington State, which extended their win streak to six games and gave them a 3-0 record in Pac-12 play.

Jones gained first downs on four of his six receptions while adding a pair of rushes for 13 yards. He had a game-long 33-yard catch on Boise State's first scoring drive and a pair of receptions on the Broncos' closing drive of the second quarter. The Baker City, Oregon native leads the team with 29 receptions for 437 yards this season. He is one of four freshmen in the program's FBS era to have at least three games with five or more receptions. Jones averages 72.8 receiving yards per game, third among FBS freshmen.

This is the first career honor for Jones and third of the season for the Broncos. Dylan Riley (Offensive) and Cam Bates (Special Teams) were honored after the Sept. 12 win over Memphis. Jones is the first Boise State freshman to pick up a conference honor since Sire Gaines, who was selected on Nov. 24, 2025. The Broncos, who are ranked No. 20 in the AP Poll and No. 22 in the Coaches Poll, are back on The Blue for an 8 p.m. showdown with Texas State on Oct. 31.
