Tatum Thompson Named Mountain West Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Tatum Thompson has been named the Old Trapper Mountain West Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday morning.

The senior earned the honor following her performance in the Broncos' 96-62 win over San Jose State. Thompson notched career-highs with 28 points and 12 field goals, both setting conference-highs over the week.

Thompson's 12 field goals were also the most in a single game for the Broncos this season.

This marks the second MW weekly honor for Boise State this season and just the third of Thompson's career. Dani Bayes was the last Bronco to earn the distinction on Nov. 17, 2025.

Boise State will return to action as it heads to Reno, Nevada, to face the Wolf Pack on Feb. 3 at 11:30 a.m. MT. The game will be broadcast on the MW Network and 670 KBOI AM.
