BOISE, Idaho – Boise State cross country and the Pac-12 jointly announced that the Broncos will host the 2026 Pac-12 Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships in the fall.Â
Both championships will take place on Friday, Oct. 30 at Warm Springs Golf Course. The event marks the first championship event that Boise State will compete in as members of the Pac-12. The championships will also be the first conference championship event the cross country program has hosted since the 2023 Mountain West Cross Country Championships.
Â
"To host the first Pac-12 team championship in this new era of this conference is monumental for our program, university and the city of Boise," head coach Pat McCurry said. "We are excited to put on a high-energy, spectator-friendly event that showcases our student-athletes."
Â
The Broncos are coming off a successful season. Last year, in McCurry's second full season at the helm of the program, both the men's and women's program finished as runners-up at the 2025 MW Cross Country Championships. The women's program finished the 2025 campaign with a 22nd place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
Â
In the first season of the redefined Pac-12, seven schools will compete on the men's side while all nine programs will compete on the women's side.Â
Start times and broadcast information for the championships will be announced at a later date. The remainder of Boise State's cross country schedule will also be announced at a later time.Â
