Doyle Garners Recognition on Ray Guy Award Watch List

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State punter Oscar Doyle garnered recognition on the Ray Guy Award Watch List, the Augusta Sports Council announced. The award is presented annually to the nation's top punter. This year's watch list features 21 players, with Doyle being the lone student-athlete from the Pac-12.
In his first season with the Broncos, Doyle averaged 43.6 yards per punt, the seventh-best single-season mark in program history. He placed 17 kicks inside the 20-yard line and sent seven punts at least 50 yards, including a season-long 59-yarder against Eastern Washington. Of his 56 attempts, 29 were fair caught and only five were touchbacks. He also completed a pair of passes, totaling 21 yards and one touchdown.
The senior joined Boise State after spending a year at Weber State, where he was a semifinalist for FCS Punter of the Year. He averaged 44.4 yards per punt, ranking 11th in the country. An All-Mountain West honorable mention pick in 2025, Doyle was named Preseason All-Pac-12 by Athlon Sports (first team) and Phil Steele (second team).
Semifinalists for the Ray Guy Award will be recognized on November 13, followed by a week-long voting period that will narrow the field to three finalists, who will be named on November 24. The recipient of the 27th Ray Guy Award will be announced on The Home Depot College Football Awards Show, which airs live on ESPN on December 11.
